Dr. Vikram Sharma is a distinguished figure in Indian Urology, currently serving as the Director of Urology, Andrology, and Robotics and Head of Robotic Urological Surgery at the Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) in Gurgaon. With over 39 years of clinical experience, he is recognized as a pioneer and innovator in his field.
Dr. Sharma completed his medical education at Punjab University, Chandigarh, earning both his MBBS (1982) and MS in General Surgery (1985). He further specialized by obtaining a Diploma in Urology from the Institute of Urology, London (1986). His global academic presence includes serving as a Visiting Professor of Urology at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
